Dinosaur Bees is currently open to submissions for Issue #5.
Dinosaur Bees: A Journal of the Carefully Strange welcomes poetry, short stories and flash fiction, creative non-fiction, hybrids, multimedia and collaborative pieces, visual arts, and creations that don’t lend themselves to being categorized. We invite both emerging and established folks to submit.
We don’t have one specific aesthetic, but we strongly suggest that you look at what we’ve already published to see what's caught our eye. We also strongly suggest that you read our statement in the ABOUT section to see what’s swimming around our brains. You can also check out this interview with the editor for more details.
To submit:
—Send up to 10 pages of prose-ish work or up to 5 poem-ish works. Please send all work in ONE .doc or .rtf file, or in the body of the email. PLEASE DO NOT SEND MULTIPLE FILES.
—We also really like visual/word hybrids, picture poems, etc. Send .jpg files.
—If you have an unusual multimedia format please email us to talk about the best way to send it.
—We get a lot of submissions, but we try to respond to everybody in as timely a manner as possible. Please wait two months before inquiring about the status of your submission.
